Claire Troughton
Claire has been the social marketing lead at NHS Kirklees since 2008 and works within the Public Health Directorate supporting a wide range of Programmes to facilitate healthy lifestyle behaviour change utilising social marketing techniques.
NHS Kirklees was one of the first PCTS to have a dedicated social marketing post and were one of the 10 national NSMC learning demonstration sites. Claire and her colleague recently presented a paper at the 2011World Social Marketing Conference in Dublin and have a number of projects on the NSMC showcase.
Claire has over 10 years experience of developing and implementing marketing strategies, leading numerous change programmes in both the commercial and public sector. She uses this knowledge and experience to full effect to develop innovative person-centred approaches to improve the health and wellbeing and tackle inequalities in Kirklees.
